Which type of TV aerial installation is right for me?

There are several different ways to install your television aerial, each designed to optimize signal reception based on the specific location and environment.
Loft TV aerials, for example, work best for households located in areas with strong signal strength relative to the selected transmitter.

Outdoor TV aerials are typically recommended for households in weaker signal areas, as the roof structure will slightly lower the signal strength.
Outdoor TV aerials can be located on wall brackets or mounted on the chimney depending on your location, signal reception and construction of your property.

TV aerial faults?

Reception issues with TV aerial signals will normally manifest themselves as blocking and freezing of the picture, with associated clicking and jumping of the audio.
This is normally caused by poor signal strength or quality, but can also be caused by too much signal strength.

Common failures of aerial systems include water ingress into the aerial or cable, poor connections or physical damage to equipment.

Is your TV Freeview compatible?

Most new flat screen TV's are Freeview compatible and have Freeview built in as standard. To check if your TV is compatible it will normally have a "DVB" sticker or logo on the bottom left of your TV's frame or have the "DVB" label on your input list.
